MG MGA - Starter motor
| Why was the MGA starter motor location moved from the low position to the so called high position? My 1500 had a high mounted starter done by a PO many years past so I was wondering about what was the benifit of changing. Mark |

| Mark, Are you sure that a PO did this? There were some 1500's (late) with the high mount starter. I think it went along with the introduction of the GD engine. Too lazy to get out "The Book". I suspect it was done to get the starter a little further away from the road debris. Chuck |
