MG MGA - Stub/velocity stack
I am sure this has been discussed before, but I was looking at putting stub stacks into my airfilters, I have order original are filter replacements and K&N filters from Moss. But I have seen bad reviews of the K&N stub stack and good reviews of the APT ones, but not sure if they can be sourced in the UK. Any recommendations on this? Thanks Rob |

Rob We designed good stub stacks. Don't go buying any from the main stream suppliers. I will put you in touch with Steve Ash to see if we still have any in stock. Have a look at my page on the subject: http://www.mgaroadster.co.uk/Stub%20Stacks.htm If that does not work try this: http://tinyurl.com/6ec2owh Steve |

Rob I have emailed Steve Ash (esselay.123@btinternet.com). He should respond here. Alternatively, you may wish to email him direct. Steve |

Thanks Steve, I'll drop him a note as well, JIC. If there are some home grown ones then even better. Cheers Rob |

Hi Rob Just bought 2 sets of K & N filters for my A. Obviously I only needed 1 set. I did not read the small print and Moss did not remind me that they were sold in pairs. If anyone is interested I have a spare new set for sale. I digress. I also bought a set of Velocity stacks from the Steve's and was impressed with the quality, outstanding. They fit perfectly so can't wait to complete rebuild and try them out. I am sure from the write ups that I will not be disappointed. I hope there are still some available from Steve for your car. I have just rectified the link on my website: http://www.mgaroadster.co.uk/Stub_Stacks.htm I will check with Steve Ash to see if he wishes to have his details added to the page for people to order direct. Steve |

Received the Stub Stacks from Steve Ash at the weekend. Beautiful things, shame they are hidden away. |

Perhaps someone can manufacture a transparent cover for the filter housing so we can see them!! |
