MG MGA - T-9 5 speed oil capacity?

Does anyone know how much oil a T-9 transmission takes? Directions just say to fill it to the "level hole".

Depends on the age of the gearbox
N-type up to 1987 1.9 litres
N-Type later 1.25 litres

Thanks for the info. At least I have a range. I bought 2 quarts (good ol US measures) so I should have enough.
