D.M, I've seen your posts on the TC site. I too have a pushrod car and can't find the correct engine number, unless you can find old licensing records which may mention it, before the engine was removed. I have since purchased an engine (without the engine number as they come off easily when reconditioned) If you look on the twin cam site, for the block codes, you can also get some idea of what you need or in my case have.... Not easy stuff as the factory did not keep records. I've asked heritage and said if you can supply the engine number I will buy the certificate for £25 or whatever they charge.... but no reply.... All you get is basically this. http://www.mgcars.org.uk/mgarh/twincam.htm Unless you have extensive history documents Cheers <MARK> |

If you are looking for twin cam info contact: James Alcorn (858)459-0806. His web site is www.autovintagery.com He specializes in twin cam cars. The last time I was at his shop he had about 1/2 a dozen of them there. |

You might also contact Frank Graham through his web site http://safetyfast.homestead.com/home.html I seem to remember he had a twin cam engine for sale some time back. |
