MG MGA - Used Crankshaft
I was on the hunt today for some used MG TD and MGA parts. I came across a used crankshaft. I'm pretty sure it came out of a 1622 engine. The dimensions in the workshop manual seem to match but I'm not sure. It has one rod with a very beat up piston that measured at around 3.00. The Mains and rods are standard size. If someone has a good set of dimensions for the 1500/1600 to the 1622 that would be a great help. The casting # BA38AX and stamping # 12H429. The only spare block I currently have that is dissembled is a 1500 Riley. The crank does not fit it. Thanks for your help Gary |
