MG MGA - Used Fuel Filler Neck Out There?
I'm replacing the fuel cap with an Aston, but it requires alteration of the filler neck, so am looking for a good used piece that I can refurbish. Does anyone have a spare-parts car with a fuel filler neck for sale? Moss calls this piece the gas tank extension. thanks, Tyler |

Tyler, depending on how much you need (original cap flange etc.) you might just use a length of exhaust tubing. I've done this on my midget with an Aston cap. If you need a slight bend, no problem as most shops can put the needed angle in easily. If this won't work for you then I guess I could spare the neck off my car, I'm also planning on using a Aston cap. |

Tyler, I believe I have an old one you are welcome to. I will check out my "barn stuff" this morning and get back to you. Have a good day! John |

Have you considered using the Aston cap that Burton Power U.K. sells? I believe it installs without altering the filler neck. <www.burton-power.co.uk> George |
