MG MGA - Vented valve cover

I've been helping my BIL work on his recently acquired '58 MGA. At Christmas, he got a new ribbed AL valve cover from Moss. As you probably already know, that valve cover does not come with a venting pipe as does the original valve cover. He is convinced that he needs a method to vent this new valve cover. Any comments or thoughts on this subject? I tried the archives but couldn't find anything there.
