MG MGA - Vernier Cam pulleys
Anyone got any recent experience good or bad? Who makes the best? What sort of difference do they make? Are there any belt driven versions? Geoff |

Geoff, If you’re using a standard cam, then there is no point as there not any lighter and the performance advantage is very minimal. However for performance cams then a must, as they have been ground slightly offset. You can get offset key's for a few £'s, but it is possible to break these if you flat change, etc. The one's I have in two engines are from moss or Kent cams. It does take a good hour to set them up though. Never seen a belt version. Small chains don't stretch that much anyway. Hope this helps. <MARK> |
