MG MGA - Waiting, waiting
All the parts for my engine rebuild are in. I've pretty much primered everthing that can be primered. My distributer came back from Jeff Schlemmer (highly recommended) No all I have to do is wait for the machinist. I hate waiting. |

As an interesting aside, I spent a bit of time truing out some of the parts that need to seal i.e. the oil pan, timing chain cover, water pump, valve cover. Given how bent or otherwise messed up they were, I suspect that this was time well spend in order to avoid chasing oil leaks. TM |

TM .... and as they say .... "good things come to those who wait" !! I concur with your comment regarding Jeff Schlemmer and the distributor rebuild ..... he did mine and after years of poor performance and overheating I installed the newly rebuilt dizzy that I received from Jeff and all problems disappeared. I'm on my third season with it now and my car has never run better. Mike 1960 MGA 1600 Roadster |
