MG MGA - Went for a ride - and thank you!

I am in the middle of a looong restoration. Recently, a list member - David in CT - invited me over and let me go for a quick spin in his running 1600 MGA; he even let me drive! As this was the first time I have actually ever driven an MGA (though I have ridden in one before), it was a great experience, and one for which I am very grateful! Thank you, David - it was a blast! What a nice car (5 speed gearbox, woo hoo!).

I even got a nice hood frame (for free!) out of the deal, and have hopefully made another friend in MGA-land. Moreover, though, I got a huge shot of re-invigorating enthusiasm for the restoration in my own garage.

I am sorry, David, if my driving left you less than impressed - I need more practice.

MGA owners are a great bunch, and this list is an invaluable resource!
