MG MGA - what is it?
Hello everyone: A buddy gave me a part that looks like a clutch slave cylinder, but for what? Lockheed number 3212-212 C. It has the number 70 stamped into the body. The body appears to be made of the same material as the A clutch and master cylinders. It is about 9 inches long with a rubber ribbed boot covering a spring at one end. At the rear is a white plastic cover secured by 5 screws. It is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and has a rotating end with what appears to be some sort of filter. It has a metal band with: 4212/574.9 and 72. The rubber boot has Lockheed 3815-773 and Pe (E) 3A on it. There is a bleeder inled and three inlets for hoses. Any help deeply appreciated. Mitch |
