MG MGA - wheels & tires
Hey all, as the 1960 edition of the MGA nears completion, it seems that the original 48 spoke wheels are not economical to repair. Following a thread from this B/B, I have received a quote from SC Parts, in England, that is almost $500.00 less than the nearest competitor! It is for 5, painted, 60 spoke wheels and tires, mounted, balanced and delivered. I know that I beat the VAT but is this too good to be true? Has anyone purchased from SC Parts? Thanks, Tom |

Thomas, SC Parts are mega expensive on some things. Try also Motor Wheel Services in the UK. regards Colin |

Tom, before I ever purchase anything over the internet I always carry out a search review on the seller. I’m not to sure I would purchase anything from SC based on what has been said. Sorry, just my opinion. Regards Richard |

Thomas 2-3 years ago I purchased 4 Dunlop Chrome 60 spoke wires with 155/15 Vredenstein Classic Tyres from SC parts They were delivered quickly and have been excelent in Service (I also bought my 123 distributor from them and again they were cheaper than the competition) From Memory the wheels & tyres cost around £800 all inclusive delivered to UK adress etc. Painted were around £100 cheaper. You can speak to Monty at SC parts and he is quite helpfull By the way they are Dunlop tubeless wires made by MWS I found at that time they were the best deal Paul |
