MG MGA - wiper blades
Does anybody know a good working alternative for the worthless window wipers I have on my car ( I have brand new ones, originals!)? Thanks anyway, Guido |

Lots of Rain-X. Get the original type and put it on as directions say. It works much better than the wipers. |

Guido, Check www.texautomotive.com and part # U81735 for rhd and U80735 for lhd for wiper arms, then # B00308 for the blades. These are quite a bit beefier (and pricier)than the play wipers on the A. Tyler |

Must be an opportune annual moment to mention the slice of raw potato wiped over the inside of a screen to prevent misting! Steve |

What Steve didn't go on to say was that after having wiped the inside of the windscreen with your slice of raw potato was that you could then add it to your Lancashire hotpot , I expect there are other elements used in the Lancashire hotpot that can also be used on the MGA, raw carrots rubbed on the leather to rejuvinate maybe ? thick gravey worked into the hood to waterproof ??, ee by eck nothing wasted up North Gordon |

Hey Gordon - don't go giving away all our credit crunch money savers!! cheers Cam |

It beats the Cornish bodge of filling in cracks in the MGA paintwork with Snowpake (liquid paper corrector). Steve |

Hi Steve, that's just called ingenuity, rather than "come dine with me and my MGA " lol gordon |

Well, you can use a slice of onion to remove the grease and dirt from your upholstery. Does wonders and doesn't leave a smell. |
