MG MGA - Wiring Harness location

Can anyone tell me where the main wiring harness goes through the inner fender in order to get to the right hand headlamp (LHD MGA)? And then, where does it come back out in order to attach to the thinner harness that runs behind the grill to the left headlamp? Are there supposed to be pre-drilled holes in the inner fender? If so, I don't have them on my '57 MGA.
Perhaps someone could have a look at theirs, and let me know the route. Thanks.

The harness runs along the top of the right side inner fender and passes through a hole in the extreme corner of the radiator diaphragm panel outboard of the 4" air duct port. Be sure to install a rubber grommet there.

A large ring grounding lug for the harness originally attached to the tip end of an extra length fender bolt with a hex nut, two bolts up from the bottom front, as the harness was installed in the body before the body went on the chassis. Many people put this ground lug under one of the body-to-frame bolts (especially if they didn't know to install one longer fender bolt).

Ahead of the body-to-frame bolts in the horizontal air panel is a pass through hole on both sides. Install grommets here too. Pigtail wires for the headlight and parking light "should" be long enough to pass through these holes so the bullet connectors can be positioned inside the nose of the main body. Many recent repro lamps have shorter pigtails, so you might have to pass the main harness wires down through the grommet and connect the snap connectors underneath (where they can be hit with splash from the front tire). Ditto for connections on the opposite side.

The thin harness trunk for the horns and fog lamp passes down through the right side grommet to follow along the cross tube on the front frame extension. Take care not to foul the opening for the hand crank.

The front harness passing from right to left was originally attached with a couple of P-clips to the underside of the bonnet latch mounting brace. Take care not to foul the bonnet latch release, draw rods, and bell crank mechanism.

It does not go through the inner fender.
The main harness runs along the right front fender bolt line. It is held in place by clips that are bolted on the back side of the extra long fender bolts. The harness goes through the hole behind the air tube at the radiator support. The hole has a grommet and is about an inch in diameter. Behind the front right air tube and in front of the radiator support the harness connectors join. The small wire harhess that goes to the lights and the horn go down through the 1 inch holes, that also have grommets, in each end of the radiator panel. If no one posts pictures I will monday when I return to work. The small wire harness that runs from right to left is secured in 3 places to the cross support that the hood latch is in. With the grill and the 4 inch air tubes removed it is easy to install the front wiring.

Thanks. I am on track now. I appreciate the clear directions. It is very helpful.
