MG MGA - wiring woes completed
Finally found all the ground problems znd a bad wire to the rear light and now everything works. I'd like to thank all who helped me through the rewire and especially Barney Gaylords website where tips abound. I took my 1959 MGA out for the first ride in 6 weeks and it felt great. Also changed the grill, added a horn, fog light brackets and a new front bumper. Ran well, but now have problems with the engine temperature. did that, done that, but how much fun it is to never being finished. thanks to all again michael dvorkin |

Michael, Glad you got the wiring sorted out. To reduce the engine temperature, you may need to twist each of the bars in the grill to open them up more. Many of the replacement grills have the slats closed up too much, and don't let enough air in. Lots of posts in the archives about this. Jeff |
