MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - All I can stands , Cant stand no More.

Yes , after Not attending the 07 v/8 meet cause I didnt want to blow-up or wreck the Meanie .

This past Sunday at 55 mph. in 5th. gear , and I have been
babyin this car all summer because I was thinking of selling it . To get my XJS. The Meanie finally payed me back for all the abuse I have given it .

After less than 500 miles , since I spent approx. another $2000. in repairs & upgrades , it at 55 in 5th. dropped a valve , the same one that had broken the spring & bent the pushrod at Townsend Tenn. [06].

I have just spent Approx. $2000. , on rebuilt tr8 tranny [Glen Towery] , new springs & pushrods , & 3 or 4 more small improvements & mods.
And within the last 1000 miles , I have put in NEW , the following parts jet hotted headers , petronics ignition, CD player & 2 new speakers , holley fuel pump ,
rear disk brakes / with E brakes ,a $500. alum. radiator , new hoses , new boots & alignment on the front , new rear seals,bearings & oil [dana 44] rear end , 2/3rds of the exhaust new with a flowmaster ,
new acell wires & cap & I dont know what else .

I have over $16,000 in this car , all it needs to be
a runner is a engine , [Buick 215] everything , well all the big things ARE DONE . and I have All reciepts.

I know this isnt a for-sale site , but I have had my fill , & simply DONT care . I am asking $9000. just what I payed for the car , and I have spent alot of time , effort , & another $ 7000 in improvements .
