MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Brakes & steering
|Trying to complete my BGT to V8 conversion started a looong time ago. House renovation, kids etc. Need some help/advice on brakes and steering please? Spec. so far: Complete seam welded 1970 shell, std. SD1 rover engine, alloy, "c" bonnet gives clearance for Weber on offy (with some machining mods) Front cross member is std. CB modded to take Ron Hop front shoc kit etc. Fitted V8 discs many years ago, got original servo fitted UK passenger side bulkhead (all re-conditioned) but want something better for master cylinder, perhaps to give dual circuit? don't want to fit Rub Bumper one. Anything better? Would also like to fit 4 pot calipers!|
What's the opinion on the V8 conversion Co's double UJ steering column? is there another way?
To give you an idea when I started, MG remote oil take offs could be bought at your local BL dealer!!!
