MG MGB Technical - '66 Steering Column

Can the inner column be removed without removing the outer column?

Put simply, yes it can.

Undo the UJ and it should pull out.

Probably best to remove the cowl and check that everything is clear, first.

Thanks! I need to replace the bearings. There is just too much wobble in the steering wheel.
