MG MGB Technical - Attaching headlight buckets?

OK so the DPO, filled in all the screw holes on the headlight surround, except the big ones for the aiming. How do I attach the bucket to the frame? What size screws? Can I use a self-tapping screw? I was planninig on 4 screws around the bucket. Is this alright?

Thanks for the advice. As usual, it is a sanity saver.

I think on my roadster there are four nylon 'sockets' pressed into square holes in the headlight reinforcing ring which large self-tappers screw into, but on the V8 they are just screwed into holes in the reinforcing ring and wing. Can't see even the screws in the Parts Catalogue, let alone the sockets. The nylon sockets should prevent rust forming and spreading out from the screw holes.
