MG MGB Technical - Brake Seals - Suppliers?
Sorry this is not an MG problem but a Google search about brake seals brought up this site. I need new brake master cylinder seals for a Fiat and the local Fiat agent wants £85 for three seals. They cannot get a complete cylinder for an L reg vehicle. Kits do not seem to be available now (EU regulations?) Can anyone put me in touch with an aftermarket supplier, please? I have done dimensioned drawings of the seals. |

Brian, I assume it is Gray's you are talking about. Unlikly to be an EU regs issue. More likly to be lack of factory support for cars over 10 years old. Have you tried Lemoco in Leamington Spa. They are a motor factor who supply many of the non franchise garages in the area. An alternative would be Partco also in Leamington. The brake master cylinder may have been used on other cars as well. Not just Fiats. David |
