MG MGB Technical - Changing steering wheels

I was given a very nice Momo steering wheel by a friend. Do I need to locate this maker and ask about an adapter to install it on my 79B..Most of the parts stores only carry Grant wheels/adapters. This used to be a popular wheel but I don't hear talk of it much anymore.

Try there web site. You have to look it up, puyt momo wheels in a search engine. They do make MGB adapters for certain years. It depends on the momo wheel. I think the later years were the most popular for the momo wheels.

Hi,
I have a Momo steering wheel on my 73 B. It is a Momo Ghibli model. The diameter of the wheel is considerably smaller than the original wheel, I love it. It does however take a little bit more effort to turn the wheel when parking , but great feel when underway. I did have to buy an adapter for it. I got it from some European auto parts store . They ordered it for me from the Momo distributor. I originally used this wheel on my BMW 2002 and it had a different adapter. I liked the wheel, so when I sold the Beemer I kept the Momo wheel, simply needed a Momo to MGB adapter. Look around it is available. Good Luck.
