MG MGB Technical - chassis dimensions
HI MY mgb roadster DEC 1964, WAS INVOLVED IN A ACCIDENT, . THE DRUNK DRIVER HIT MY RIGHT HAND SIDE REAR WHEEL SPINNER, WITH QUITE AN IMPACT. THE REAR RIGHT HALF SHAFT IS BENT, AND THE RIGHT TIRE MOVED BACK 4INCHES AND THE CHASSIS IS NOW BENT. THE RADITOR IS PUNCTURED AND THE BLADE BROKEN. THE CAR HAS TO GO ON A CHEETLE TO STRAIGHTEN IT. WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF ANYONE OUT THE CAN GIVE ME THE DIMENSIONS, OR ADVICE ME, HOW TO SEE THINGS ARE DONE RIGHT.. THE PANEL BEATER SAYS HE CAN TIE 2 STRINGS DIAGONALLY LIKE A FIGURE X, AND GET A MID POINT ON BOTH STRINGS., TO GET THE CHASSIS BACK IN SHAPE . PLEASE ADVICE THANKS VIGNES |

Vignes I have scanned the body alignment pages from the early MGB Workshop Manual. I hope they help and are clear enough. Good Luck Ian Buckley |
