MG MGB Technical - D-shaped steering wheel for '71?
Hey, my buddy has a '71 MGB and he's a big guy. His legs barely fit under the stock steering wheel. I know Grant sells a 13" D-shaped GT steering wheel for $100, but they only sell a hub adaptor for '78-80 MGB. 1. I'm assuming that means it won't work on his '71. Is there another adaptor? 2. Is there another wheel source with a steering wheel that'll work? Help me help him get his ride back. He hasn't really driven her much since high school (10 years ago) because it's no fun nor very safe to drive. Thanks, Alex |

Momo? Ok, I've checked and while momo has a huge variety of steering wheels and adapters, they don't list an adapter for any MGs, let alone a '71-72 MGB. So, which momo adapter are you referring to, or are you simply suggesting I check out Momo for a possible adapter (which I already did)? Any other suggestions other than "Momo"? |

Momo do do an adapter for the 71-2 B because I just fitted a Momo Race wheelto my B! Try getting one through the MG Owners Club in the UK. |

Alex, Sorry to be so brief. As Chris stated, Momo makes an adapter. A fellow club member has a D-shaped one in his '70. You might try a Google search as well as the MGOC. David |
