MG MGB Technical - Fuel Lines
I have been through the archives and found that the fuel line is 1/4". But I have not been able to find what length of tubing I would need to purchase to span from the fuel pump to the carbs (I assume this is one piece?). Also how much tubing should I buy for the tank to the fuel pump? I am not with my '73 B now, but will be going this week to work on it--hence why I am asking instead of just measuring what is on the car. Thank you, Zach |

Actually, I believe the line is really 5/16. I recently replaced mine and I used roll copper tubing from my local hardware store. It is rated to over 100 psi ( is used in high pressure refrigeration systems), more than adequate. is inexpensive, realtivly easy to install. It is also what Victoria British supplies in their kit for about $100.00 Has worked quite well for me. |

I bought a 25' roll of 5/16" aluminum tubing from Summit Racing. I think 15' probably would have been closer to the correct amount, but the roll is under $20. |
