MG MGB Technical - fuel pump

can i use the stock su fuel pump for weber carbs or do i have to get a new fuel pump

Scot - there should be no problem with the original SU fuel pump supplying a Weber carb as long as the Fuel pump is not causing any problems with the SU carbs. Cheers - Dave

Scot. I am using the stock SU pump on two Weber equipped RB cars. If I remember correctly, you have a 68. Better off with the SUs. The only reason I have Webers on the other two cars is emissions tuning. In your case, the SUs are a better choice. Les
