MG MGB Technical - Fuel Pump

Need to replace my fuel pump. I currently have an aftermarket mounted in the engine bay. I want to install an original style SU. Should I go with electronic or points-type. 1970 B with negative ground.

Either should be equally reliable.

They both need servicing periodically - the points need cleaning and the electronic ones need adjusting ( they work on a hall effect with a magnet and need to be fine tuned to keep them running well)
