MG MGB Technical - Gearbox troubles

The gearbox from my 1971 MGB dus not synchromesch correctly after 4 or 5 times switching from gear. When you turn on the engine the gearbox works correctly, but later on you can't switched from gear anymore.
There is some noise then in the gearbox/clutch and the clutch withdrawal lever who is attached to the slave clutch cilinder trilled.
Is it good that you can pusch, with the hand, the pushrod from the slave cilinder into the cilinder when you not pusch the clutch pedal?????
When i start to pusch on the clutch pedal a high tone is coming out of the clutch/gearbox what can it be???
The clutch works correctly, can the clutch be the problem for my gearbox problems????
Can it be a low oil level, the level is half way between the high and minium level????

I have just finished dealing with a similar problem in a MG midget. The problem (unfortunately) was a bad throw-out bearing. It could also be a problem with the clutch master or slave cylinder.

Yes, because with the master cylinder in the rest position, the fluid reservoir has an open connection to the hydraulic line.
