hi, if you haven't got the Haymes manual which is very helpful you can have a look on the Moss website on the lights section as it details the many parts in the right order to fix the headlight. hope it's help Alexia |

The two adjuster screws on the bowl should fit into 'sockets' on the rubber seal, which lies against the painted wing/fender. One adjuster is at the top and the other at the side, the side may differ according to RHD or LHD. The four fixing screws go through the seal, either directly into the reinforcing ring on the wing or into nylon blocks in square holes in the reinforcing ring. The bowl is orientated so the spring-clip to hold the trim ring is at the bottom. This should be a spring-slip and not a threaded plate which is for other BL models. The headlamp glass and reflector unit is held by a two-part chrome-plated ring, which engages with the heads of the two adjuster screws. There is a spring between the headlamp and the bowl. You hook the top of the trim-ring behind the two flanges on the top part of the bowl, press down, and push the bottom of the trim ring back to engage the spring clip. |
