MG MGB Technical - Help identify brake master cylinder
Guys, have been offered a master cylinder supposedly from an MGB but need confirmtion. It is 3/4 bore tandem and is a lockeed 211/832c. Is this a MGB and if so is it off a non servoed car? regards mark |

The dual circuit master used on US cars from 68 to 74 is a 3/4" bore cylinder with a very large round plastic cover. It was not used with a servo. The 75 and later unit was used with a servo and is 7/8" bore and has a hole in the bottom for the brake failure warning switch. See attached picture. (yes I know it's a C but i am using a B pedal box and brake master)
