MG MGB Technical - hotrod b

last year i had fitted lowered suspension the front measures13/12 inch which is correct but the rear is 15/12 inch. ive done over 300 miles and the code on the springs is correct. what do i do now thanks daz( should there be a spacer fitted underneath the axsle trapped by the shackles)

I assume you are measuring from wheel center to bottom of chrome trim. What year are you modifying? '75 and post us cars have higher rear spring mounts and higher front cross member mounts (makes the car sit higher).
for the rear you have the choice of flatter rear springs or lowering blocks or both.

bary i have a 79 mgb roadster,i have put the lower springs on and spax shockers.the kit was from mg hive and the say that the part numbers are correct.after investergateing i have found that the ride height should be around 13 1/2 from the bottom of the chrome strip to the center of the wheel. my front is ok but the rear is 2 inch high,im just wondering iff the springs may of been fitted wrong thanks daz
