MG MGB Technical - Installing body patch panels
FYI: If anybody out there is contemplating surgery to repair rusted body panels on their car - there's an excellent "how-to" article in this month's Classic Motorports magazine. November 2004 (issue # 111) (Project Modern midget: Chapter 7) Although here it was done on an MG Midget the skills and tips illustrated in the article are general enough to be applicable for just about any car. |

There is some good info on this site as well: http://www.metalshapers.org Check out some of the picture "albums". The site loads slowly; be patient. I'm in the midst of some cutting and welding on my '67 GT. It is time-consuming, but worth making the car structurally sound again. Not to mention that it will no longer have gaping, rusty holes in it. -G. |
