MG MGB Technical - master cylinder
At the last vintage race at Road America, WI, I was talking to a fellow racing an MGA twincam. I asked about an MGB dual brake master cylinder and he said he used an older volvo ms because it was a safer system. Problem is, who knows what year etc he was using. Anyone out there have a solution to the sliding bar system used on the mgbs. I have an mga and I think I can use the B brackets etc. Fred |

What is your concern with the sliding bar system? It is only used for the brake warning light. You could easily block it off for racing, or even bypass it completely. Only problem I know of for B brakes is the fact the dual circuit if 2 front/2 rear, where modern cars have 1 front 1 rear/1 front 1 rear. |
