MG MGB Technical - MINI Disaster Updated
Hi there peeps... I would have added this to the end of the actual thread, but webmaster has archived it (is there a way of updating archived files?) Just to let those who offered advice under the original thread know, that the probs with the borrowed mini was a split bypass hose, with a few assorted other bits and bobs. I ended up fitting new hoses + clips all round, cleaned crud off of outside and inside of rad, fan etc, cleaned the carb and added a new air filter. The little beast is rasping its way around cape town once again, so thanks a lot for all your assistance. ~PHIL |

Just use exactly the same thread title and the archive will eventually associate them. Personally I don't like starting a new thread which is what happens when you append the word 'updated' or somesuch as the problem and the fix get disconnected. |

Pleased to hear all went well in the end. The little buggers can be so frustrating, but it's always worth it !! Phil. |
