MG MGB Technical - MK1 Master Cylinder Filler Caps
Does anyone know when the change from metal filler caps (with what sort of washer?) to plastic caps was made on Lockheed brake and clutch master cylinders? Does anyone have a source of these metal caps, and washers? Thanks in advance.

Joe i cant help with your question about years etc but i do have a suggestion for a place where you might just be able to obtain the metal tops.... try Power Track of Windsor Berkshire... tel 01753 842680.. they managed to obtain a rare hydraulic part for me once.. however they are a small company that do not take credit cards so obtain thier address!

I am in the -process of replacing all of my brake lines on my 68B. After reading the Haynes Restoration manual by Lindsay Porter he recommends using copper brake lines. Is this special copper or would any copper line do? Moss sells cupro-nickel tubing. Which is best or is copper tubing legal in the USA or Canada? Thanks in advance. Bill
