MG MGB Technical - Offset rear springs for Midget
Would anyone have or know of a source for pictures/measurements of offset rear springs for a midget? I Vintage race a '65 and run Dunlop Formula Ford fronts all round. This causes tire rubbing on the springs, even with spacers fitted and the solution is fitting offset springs. I have a custom spring maker in Toronto who can do this but he needs a picture and ideally measurements and a schematic. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi Nick You'll get a response on the Sprites and Midgets board. Many of the Spridgeteers look in on the other boards...but I think some don't. James |

Some do..... I think Peter May may does them. He may even work out cheaper. Sometimes known as "W" springs. http://www.petermayengineering.co.uk/ |

James, can you indulge me and explain how I post the query on the Spridgets board? Thanks. Stuart, thanks. I have contacted Peter May though ideally I'd like to build these myself if I can get the specs. |
