MG MGB Technical - Palo Alto Speedometer, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Hey all, Just wanted to post a good recommendation for Palo Alto Speedometer. I sent them the speedo head from my '67 BGT for a rebuild and not only did it arrive back rebuilt/recalibrated but the glass was polished and the chrome bezel polished to a wonderful standard! I installed the rebuilt speedo along with a new cable and angle drive and checked it against a radar gun and sure enough it was dead accurate (at least according to the radar). So if anyone needs a speedo (or any instrument for that matter) rebuilt/restored, I highly recommend Palo Alto Speedometer. You can see their website at http://www.paspeedo.com Also, as the tach in my '67 doesn't work and I have a pertronix ignition on the car to boot, I called them about having the tach repaired and also configured to work with my Pertronix system, they said it would be no problem and that they replace the original board with a modern unit which receives the signal from the electronic kit. Awesome! Rgds, Aaron Greenberg '67 BGT '76 TR6 |
