MG MGB Technical - Parts suppliers
For my 1968 mgb restoration I will need various inner sill parts and new floor pans. Any good/bad experience with the various suppliers for these parts out there? Any comments appreciated. Thanks, Henri Henrivg@wi.rr.com |

Hi Henri - I have been using LBCARCO with very good success (http://www.lbcarca.com)for the restoration of my 67 BGT. Jeff will save you over Moss. I find it is still good to compare, I have found the occasional part less at one than at another. You can also do a lot of looking for the best price, but when you are factoring in shipping, most come out about the same. I normally look at MOSS, VictoriaBritish, PerfectMG and Roadster factory. I just ordered all the little gaskets, plugs, and misc. small stuff from LBCARCO. Also ordered a floor pan. Found that for my 67, they appaently do not make the pan with the seat bolts attached. For your MKII 68, they do. Jeff is also extremely good at answering any questions via e-mail. Normally gets back within 8 hours. |
