MG MGB Technical - Pictures 1977mgb w/Supercharger

Hi Everyone,

If anyone would like to take a look at my car in American Samoa with the Moss supercharger and other extras please visit:

http://www.treasure-island-jewelers.com/1977mgb%20Supercharged.htm

I tried this on the supercharger forum and the link did not work as it would not list the full address.
If this happens again:

Please add: %20Supercharged.htm after the 1977mgb in your web browser.

All comments are Welcome,

Best Regards,

Ray,

I really like the gauges and dash layout on your car, especially with that steering wheel. It looks really good.

Very nice Ray! I've been curious to see the finished product after following your threads.

How much of a workout have you given the supercharger?

Beatiful, Ray!

The best part is the fact it was a family project! I can tell you are very proud of the car, but your love for your family comes through loud and clear on your web site. You seem to have your priorities correct!

Congratulations!!

Hi again Robert,

You have to see the gauges at night. My SUV has the green lights that show through the dash. This is the same. Very bright and looks so nice driving with the Green gauges. Even the needle lights up. Well worth it. These can be white, green, or red. Sll you do is cahnge the plastic cap of=ver the light bulb.

I have the Victoria British Three Spoke Leather Steering Wheel. I just thought it would bring out the appearance of the dash.

Thanks for your Comments,

Ray

Hi Greg,

To be honest I don't hardly use the supercharger. The setup in my car is fast without it, but when I do push the pedal to the medal it moves. Sure I get the tempation to floor it, but after driving it you get over that temptation and understand that it is only along for the ride, but when that time comes it will be there.

My wife is still scared when I do use it because it pushes her back in her seat, and the car just seems to feel like it is lifting off the ground. My kids of course love it.

My car is just a weekend or nice day cruising and watching the people admire my car with that sports car sound coming from the muffler.

Thanks for the comment,

Ray

Hi John,

Thanks very much. You are 100% correct that this shows how much I think of my family. They are everything to me.

Thanks very much,

Ray

I like what you did with the fuses and I have the exact same fuse holder by the looks of it ready to put into my car when I get to the wiring stage. Also my gauges sound similar. Mine also light up with a very cool green glow. Mush more visible than the originals but without looking too out of place in an MG. Very nice looking car!

Let's see, a supercharged beauty of an mgb roadster, a lovely Pacific island, boy, do you have it made.
John

Ray, a beautiful job. Very tastful mods. Truely a 'jewel' to pass on to your family.

Ray,

Where did you get the fuse block, and do you suppose it's available with a couple more fuse slots?

Thanks Guys, I really appreciate your comments.

I just updated the web page with closer shots of the fuse box and engine bay. You can really see the fuse box set up clearer.

The 6 holder fuse box can be found on e-bay under MGB Parts. It just recently came out and it comes from my home town of Pennsylvania. It only has 6 slots, but if you want just get two of them. This has 2 constant power, 2 ignition, and 2 for the left and right side parking lights so it spreads things out.

Take another look.

Best Regards,

Ray
