MG MGB Technical - PO ,s OF XBL982H
I am looking for help from any of the previous owners of the above registered MGB GT. My problem is the two plastic, (one green and one black) relays that were fitted to the inner o/s wing, by you or one of the other owners, can you throw any light on what they were used for, as during a refurb they were disconnected and some of the wiring has been mixed up. As they were a non standard from new fitting I cannot track them on the normal wiring diagrams. Also the four micro switches fitted inside the liftup armrest, what were they for? Your help would be much appreciated. Cheers Peter. |

Peter If you send five quid to the DVLA, they will give you a list of previous owners. |

"four micro switches fitted inside the liftup armrest" Electric windows or door mirrors? But I'm wondering why you are wondering, if none of these parts do anything and as they are non-standard simply remove them and the associated wiring. I got a bagful of non-standard wiring and bits out of my roadster when I restored it. |

Perhaps a previous owner was a Major Boothroyd? Seriously, I'd do as Paul suggests and dump them. Push button switches in a console where flotsum could push against them doesn't sound like a good idea. |
