MG MGB Technical - rear shocks

hi im putting my rear shocks back on the car and cant remember which is left or right as they are handed,does the arm that comes from the shock face the front or rear of the car when bolted to the body.cheers

They face the rear...I recommend a workshop manual (Haynes, Leyland etc.), if not for now, then for future jobs (although this BBS is also very helpful!) :)
