MG MGB Technical - Recover my Steering Wheel
The soft rim of my 1973 BGT steering wheel could stand to be renewed. I've read that the rim material is simulated leather. Has anyone had this done? Where? Thanks, Steve Lipofsky |

Steve, I'd be interested in this aswell. My soft cover is pitted where something like mildew attacked it when the car was standing. It is getting better with use but I'd be interested to know if anyone in the UK has had this done. Richard |

I used a leather cover made by Wheelskins. Here is a link to the site I purchased from: http://www.AutoToyStore.com They will take your custom measurements if needed for no additional charge. Took about an hour to install, but really looks good on my LE style wheel. It's been on there over two years and still looks new (daily driver). Not sure if they ship across the pond. Mike '79B |
