MG MGB Technical - Removing trim

I've started removing all the trim on the GT for re-spray. There are two areas that are giving me a little trouble. 1) where is the wiring connected for the side markers?I've been able to remove the ground but I can't figure out how to remove the hot lead. 3) The chrome trim on the outside of the door window needs to be removed but once again I'm a tad bit stumped on how this fastened to the door.

The power for the side-markers should come from bullet connectors by the headlights and rear light clusters. It changed with year (always post the year of your car) originally being powered from a special headlight (blue) wire but changing to sidelights (red) during the 72 model year.

I think the GT bright trim at the bottom of the drop-glass is pop-rivetted onto a flange on the door panel. You may have to remove the glass.
