MG MGB Technical - some parts
i have recently been offered these parts off a colleauge, i think its all from an early 70s GT my car is a 1967 roadster, basically my question is what would you buy and for how much? are there parts on there to avoid? i require some input from the more experienced owners!! · New securicon seat belts [inertia] 514/30 · 2 discs new · 2 rear lever arms · 2 disc backplates new · 1 pair of brakepads · 1 set of calliper overhaul kit · 2 air filters – classic gold · 1 unipart oil filter · 1 newtronic elec iginition · 1 interior light · 2 sets of points · 1 rotor arm · 4 fram oil filters · 1 kingpin set QH · 1 front anti roll bar 1 ¾” · spax gas conversion rear · steering column and wheel · 1 rear light · 1 coil · 1 complete instrument set · towbar thanks guys! |

There isn't much there of any real value or rarety, and unless you actually need the bits now I wouldn't bother with much of it. The new disks are worth having, and probably the instrument set, as speedos and rev counters can cost £20 each second hand, and they're small enough to keep in a drawer until you need them. I'd offer no more than £30 for those bits, the other bits are so available to buy new, and relatively cheap, I wouldn't bother with them. |

yes i think the discs are my main priority here. spax i might not bother with as i was told they're not as good as stock. is the elec ignition unit any good? |
