MG MGB Technical - Speedometer Parts
I am in need of the trip meter and odometer numbers for a non-overdrive speedometer. Does anyone know of a parts supplier for Smith's gauges? Let me know. Thanks! |

James, somewhere around here I have a Smith's speedo, 0-100, off a midgit I think, yours if you want it. Might just have what you need. May take me a day or two to find it, though. |

...and if Gerry can't find what you need, you could contact Nisonger. They rebuild Smiths guages. If their web site isn't www.nisonger.com, then you should be able to find it in a search engine. How many Nisongers can there be on the net? |

Thanks guys. Do you know if the numbers on the midget speedometer are interchangeable with the speedo's on the '72 model MGB's? I have only been able to see the parts for this model so I wouldn't know. |

BTW, The exact model number is SN-5231/00 |

James, I just placed them side by side, and they look the same to me. The midget speedo is a 1375, so it will not be interchangeable as a whole, but parts amy serve your needs. I'll will be around the house this coming weekend if you feel like droping by |
