MG MGB Technical - steering wheel

hi guys
can anyone tell me the correct type of steering wheel should be fitted to a 66 gt. my car has a later one but i want to put it back to original.

Your wire steering wheel should be the same for raodsters and GTs from 1962 to 1967. Victoria British U.S. (1-800-255-0088) has them for $180 (item #18-251). I'm sure Moss U.S. has them as well or you might want to try some local breaker's yard for a used example.

The originals are quite larger and assist in slow speed steering (parking) but they are quite skinny in grip and tend to bend with harsh driving. Finding a used one in good shape is getting difficult here in the states.
