MG MGB Technical - Stow-away instalation
I know this has been covered before, I've installed them myself [20 years ago], but if any one has a link to stow-away top instalation instructions, please post it. RIC |

Hi there Try this link, it's got heaps of help for hood folding (and almost anything MGB you can think of.) Having Origami as a hobby also helps. Good luck http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/wn_brakesframe.htm Ray |

Should be http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/wn_bodyframe.htm then click on 'Roadster hood/top'. This is for the later fold-away not the earlier packaway, not sure which camp 'stow-away' falls into! |

RP, Paul thanks for the responce, but I'm looking for step by step for the stow away, especialy for the header, I know they are out there its just a matter of the right person reading this post. RIC |

Do you mean installing a brand new one, as opposed to raising and lowering? Installing a new stow away is essentialy the same as the folding top. Lindsay Porter's "mgb restoration Manual" has a good section on this. |

To the "Pauls" I refer to the stow away as the grey framed pack away which stows away in the trunk and I want instructions for installing a new top on an old grey header in case there are any tricks that might help. RIC |

Paul Slice has answered this, there is really no substitute for the five pages of description and photos that Porter provides. |
