MG MGB Technical - SU Fuel Pump.. Two Wires?
67 BGT converted to negative earth. I Purchased a new wiring harness (neg earth also). The harness has a black wire spade and a white wire spade that will connect to the pump. My new Moss SU electronic fuel pump has a spade connections, one on the end and one near the mid-body point of the pump body housing. Does it matter which wire connects to the spades? I would think the white goes on the end and the black to the body spade of the pump but that is a guess. Thanks Ralph |

Ralph - If you got a negative ground pump (black tape around the end cover to coil housing junction), and you have converted your car to negative ground, then your thinking is correct - white wire to the power terminal on the end of the end cover and black wire to the ground lug on the bottom end of the coil housing.
