MG MGB Technical - Switch change

I have a 1966 B roadster with its original steering column switchgear for turn indicators and headlamp flasher. A previous owner has removed the horn slip ring and connectors from the steering column and fitted an ordinary toggle switch under the dashboard to operate the horns. I want to fit a combined turn indicator/ horn/ headlamp dip and flasher switch from a later model B (1971/72 I think). The wiring diagram in the Haynes manual shows a number of differences, including the turn indicator lights, flasher unit and voltage stabiliser. There also appears from the wiring diagram that there is a brown wire live feed to the original switch gear but not to the later type of switch. Can any one help by letting me now which wires on the car's loom connect to which wires on the later model switch and any changes/additions I need to make to use the later type switch?
