MG MGB Technical - Through the Bulkhead
Hi all. Is there any reason why I should't pass a vacuum gauge pipe or additional wiring through holes in the oversize rubber blanking plug at the top corner of the bulkhead ?. Does anyone know why these holes are there in the first place ?. Thanks.. Don |

It's for left-hand drive clutch and brake master cylinders. No reason you can't use the hole in my opinion. |

If you do use it for this purpose, remove it and use a punch to make neat round, correctly sized holes. If you slit it in situ, you'll eventually end up with it torn and leaking. |
