MG MGF Technical - CD player

Do you have any detail of the single slot CD player fitted in the mgtf and /or Trophy. It might be made by blaupunk.

Make? model? is it any good? The only reference I have found is to the Kenwood KDC 5090R fitted to the TF.

What was fitted to the Trophy? Was it the old standard Philips Tape/Radio?

IIRC, it was a blaupunkt - but I don't have any details of it, sorry Steve :o(

Hi Steve,

The Trophy had a single slot CD radio unit, sounded pretty good, as Rob recalls correctly it was a Blaupunkt, Rover called it the CD43.

Is it any good ..., most of the time, but the CD does skip on rough roads in the trophy, and yes I do have roads around here that are less than perfect.
